Root Chakra develops from birth until age 7. It represents courage, safety, grounding, stability, passion, confidence, peace, and health. The Sanskrit name Muladhara translates to “tether, base, or support” because it’s our cosmic tether to Mother Earth, making it the first chakra. Root Chakra crystals are associated with healing the lower back, limbs, and hips.
